Margaux O'Malley
Margaux is one of the co-founders of Grand Junction Design. She is responsible for overseeing all client projects, procuring new work, and basically keeping everybody happy.

She graduated from Carleton College in 1997 with a degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish. A year teaching and a year working in the (very much) for-profit sector made it clear that she needed to be doing something toward making the world a better place and championing such progressive causes as affordable housing, human rights and saving the environment. In 1999 she took a job with Neighborhood Funders Group and started down that path, and since then she's worked with a variety of groups to further these causes.

Her personal focus is on environmental sustainability. She enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. In her family and in GJD, she makes every effort to consider the environmental impact of each action and decision, and to teach her children to do the same.

Amanda Schick
Currently in her senior year at George Mason University as a marketing major, Amanda combines her knowledge of business and marketing with her interest in online and nonprofit marketing and communication strategies. Amanda serves as a webmaster for several organizations, is responsible for web analytics reports for clients and assists in managing design and redesign projects. During her time working for GJD, Amanda has also developed her skills in creating effective visual designs, as well as using Drupal as a tool to help nonprofits get the most from their online presence.

Elizabeth Keary
Elizabeth recently graduated from Carleton College with degrees in Studio Art and Environmental Science, and is now pursuing an advanced degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She uses her background in Studio Art and graphic design to create clean and attractive print and Web designs that are both easy to navigate and inspiring to users. She enjoys the qualities of design as a "puzzle" and putting together the pieces requested by clients in an effective and innovative manner.

Matthew O'Malley
Matthew O'Malley is one of the co-founders of Grand Junction Design. He is a designer and programmer, and now spends most of his time working with the Drupal content management system. Matthew designs web sites and creates Flash animations, in addition to developing databases and web applications. He is also experienced in developing section 508 compliant (accessible) web sites.

He received a history degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland and an MA in literature from NYU. After serving in the public sector as a webmaster and web developer for the DC government for several years, he left to pursue more direct nonprofit efforts by working for individual progressive organizations with GJD.

Jeannette Modic
Jeannette received her BA in Computer Science from Goucher College in 2005. While attending Goucher she learned the importance of being a global citizen and has always wanted to work with non-profit organizations. Jeannette joined the GJD team in 2007 as a PHP developer. In this role she also configures and uses the Drupal content management system to create easy-to-use, effective web sites for our clients.
